Gerard’s Bar is a welcoming neighbourhood venue in the desirable James Street Precinct, serving delicious and colourful Middle Eastern inspired fare complimented by warm service and a fun and intriguing list of wines and signature cocktails. The young, vibrant little sister to Gerard’s Bistro, has everything you need to enjoy a casual catch up over drinks, weeknight dinner or night out celebrating with friends.
Chef Adam Wolfers’ new menu pays tribute to the culinary traditions of Lebanon and surrounding regions, celebrating the rich tapestry of cultures that have influenced these cuisines. Serving a selection of mezze, snacks and seasonal vegetable dishes, the menu is centred around the kitchen’s custom built wood-fired grill, baking to order fresh pita, flatbreads and manoushe.
The drink selection is vibrant and fun, offering a careful selection of young and interesting wines, showcasing old and new world regions and varietals, complimented by an extensive list of signature cocktails and lost and forgotten classics.

CHEF’S TABLE
Situated at the back of the venue and close to the action of the kitchen, the Chef’s Table is ideal for a dinner gathering of up to 8 guests, sampling our renowned charcuterie and carefully curated snacks and tapas.
ALCOVE
Tucked neatly in front of the bar in the middle of the venue, the Alcove is suited to a small gathering of up to 8 guests to share cocktails and charcuterie in a secluded setting. Enjoy table side service while taking in the action of the bar or enjoy the privacy of your own little space.
SIDE DECK
The Side Deck is furnished with a combination of high and low seating, as well as a semi enclosed space to feel secluded but part of the action. Perfect for small cocktail parties and corporate events, the Side Deck offers ample space to perch and enjoy the company of friends, conversation with colleagues and to network and mingle with new acquaintances.
